And we're off....

Yesterday we began our Journey to Hudson!!

We flew from Indianapolis to Dallas/Ft Worth.  We had an overnight layover there and got to spend the whole evening with Tom's sister and her family.  We had so much fun with them catching up and eating In-n-Out!!

This morning we got up and went back to the airport to fly from Dallas to Chicago.   We are currently in Chicago right now.   Our flight to China leaves in 30 minutes!!   Sooo exciting.
In our flight to Chicago my mom was looking at the catalog on the plane and came across a personalized bucket.  The name on the bucket was Hudson!!   So cute.    They we were walking to our terminal for the flight to China and right in front of us was a newsstand with the name of Hudson News.....I am not even kidding!   His name is popping up everywhere!    Love it!

Im not going to lie, this next flight is rather intimidating to me.  14 hours on a plane, flying mainly over water.   Where's my Ambien!?!

We will get into Beijing Saturday night around 9:30pm China time, which will be 9:30 am Indiana time.

It still feels a little surreal that we are actually on our way to get our Hudson.   What a long crazy journey this has been.   I am ready to hold him in my arms!

Our first week with be sightseeing in Beijing and Hong Kong.   We are so excited to visit and learn more about the culture of our son.   Also can't wait to visit where Tom was born and lived till he was 8yrs old.

Pray for safety and traveling mercies!!
